From our arrival to our departure, Dove Creek exceeded our expectations. The ocean view from our balcony was wonderful, all night long we could hear the waves lapping up on the pier. The room was very comfortable and the staff was helpful. The property includes a section of sand beyond the pool with a hammock and chairs among mangroves. We found this very relaxing. Snapper’s, the restaurant associated with Dove Creek had a varied menu with local seafood and the live music was enjoyable, ending before we went to sleep. This is a great value, costing us about half of what we paid in Key West .The only dissapointment was the breakfast, we were offered only bagels and granola. However, we have stayed at a number of hotels in Key Largo, and this is by far the best. We will definitely return to Dove Creek.
